Waitangi Day Anniversary Celebrations 2003 - Ngamotu Beach
New Plymouth, New Zealand

The Flying Arts Company supplied 20 blank flags to the New Plymouth District Council who distributed them to schools and community groups to decorate as an art competition to
celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. The flags were displayed on the Ngamotu beach foreshore on February 6th, and the designs were judged by public vote on the day.

1st - 'Hinetu' designed by Robin Challis for Women's Welfare League of Urenui.
2nd - Designed by Tessa Bailey for the Women's Welfare League of  Waitara.
